We are San Diego's trusted blinds shop, serving homeowners across the county with expert in-home design, professional installation, and a curated selection of premium window coverings. Raymonde Draperies and Window Coverings brings over 30 years of family-owned experience directly to your door, serving San Diego and surrounding communities including La Jolla, Coronado, Del Mar, and Rancho Santa Fe. Ready to transform your windows? Call us today at (619) 448-5160 to schedule your in-home design consultation.

We bring the showroom to you. Unlike a big-box retailer, we come to your home, assess your windows in natural light, and help you choose the right blinds for your actual space. San Diego's microclimates create real challenges for window treatments. Beachside neighborhoods like Ocean Beach and Point Loma deal with salt air humidity and intense afternoon glare, while inland areas near El Cajon and Santee face hotter, drier conditions that can warp lower-quality materials over time. Our product recommendations reflect these local realities.

As an exclusive Hunter Douglas dealer, we carry one of the most respected lines in the industry, available in a wide variety of styles, materials, and operating systems, including motorized and cordless options popular in the high-end homes of La Jolla and Rancho Santa Fe. Whether you need light-filtering roller shades for a Coronado coastal home or room-darkening cellular shades for a Del Mar bedroom, we have options that fit your aesthetic and your budget.

Our onsite workroom gives us an edge most local competitors don't have. We control fabrication quality from start to finish, which means fewer delays and a better result for your home.

We serve San Diego and the wider San Diego County area, including La Jolla, Coronado, Del Mar, Rancho Santa Fe, Mission Hills, Hillcrest, North Park, Chula Vista, El Cajon, and Santee. If you are searching for a blinds shop near you in San Diego, we are likely already working in your neighborhood.

Our in-home service model suits San Diego's varied architecture well, from Craftsman bungalows in North Park to contemporary waterfront estates in La Jolla to Spanish-style homes in Mission Hills. We tailor every recommendation to your home's specific character. No pressure, no guesswork. We manage every detail from first visit through final installation.

When you buy blinds from a large chain retailer, you typically purchase a product, carry it home, and figure out installation yourself. If something goes wrong, you navigate a customer service line. With us, the experience is fundamentally different.

Here is what sets us apart:

We bring over 1,000 fabric and material samples to your home so you can evaluate options in your actual lighting conditions.
We take precise measurements, eliminating the guesswork of DIY sizing.
Our professional installation team ensures durability, proper alignment, and long-lasting performance.
As an exclusive Hunter Douglas dealer, we offer access to premium products not available at standard retail chains.
Our family-owned model means you work with the same trusted team from consultation through installation.

We offer a full range of window covering solutions for every room, window type, and design goal. Visit our products page for the full lineup.

Categories we carry include:

Blinds and shades in wood, faux wood, aluminum, and fabric.
Motorized and cordless operating systems for safety, convenience, and a clean aesthetic.
Roller shades and cellular shades for energy efficiency, valuable in San Diego's warmer inland ZIP codes.
Plantation shutters and interior shutters for a timeless, classic look.
Custom draperies and roman shades for rooms that call for a softer, layered treatment.
Exterior shades for patios and outdoor living spaces, a popular choice given San Diego's year-round outdoor lifestyle.

Every product we recommend is selected with your home's specific needs in mind.
